I have installed the application and it worked well. I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and there were no problems with the software. I ran the setup and the application as Administrator and everything worked well. The error might be related to this simple tweak: Run as Administrator. Use these instructions and it should work. If you need a newer version of the software, access the official website.
